Fun Fridays is HCTA’s community tennis initiative, creating community through fun, no-cost tennis. Pros will be on duty, working with players, and running drills and games.
Please note: An RSVP is required to participate!
Fun Fridays will run for 2 hours on the dates of July 11th, 18th, 25th, and August 1st, 8th, and 15th. The first hour will be dedicated to younger players, the second to those young at heart:
- 6pm - 7pm: Juniors (Ages 6 - 15)
- 7pm - 8pm: Adults & Older Teens (Ages 16+)
Players will be organized by ability and experience.
For beginners in both groups, players will pick up on tennis essentials — forehands, backhands, volleys, serves, and basic tennis rules.
For those more advanced, we had some games in mind: Liveball, Up/Down Singles, Doubles, Dingles. We’ll keep the speed up and make sure that things stay moving.
